Robert was born in Harlingen, TX. on December 4th, 1986. Following graduation from Raymondville High School in 2005, Robert went on to receive his B.A. in Religious Studies from SMU and marry his high school sweetheart, Tanya, in 2009. In the fall of that year, Robert began his seminary career at Perkins School of Theology where he completed his Master of Divinity in December of 2013. As of January 1, 2014, Robert is serving as the Associate Pastor of McAllen First United Methodist Church in McAllen, TX. 

Some of his favorite hobbies include hanging out with his wife, reading a good sci-fi/fantasy book, playing video games (he's a die-hard Nintendo fan by the way, so don't even mention those "other consoles,") talking theology, and finding nearly any excuse to see people and have fun.
